This past year has felt frustratingly un-productive, but I did finish a thing. Though I have been dragging my feet on taking pictures and getting it listed in my Etsy shop, I am happy to say that I completed the ‘Un-Authorized Recipes of Doomed Moviethon’ zine!

So, if you ever wanted to follow along with Richard Schmidt’s excellent book, eating and drinking what he did (because I fed him), then here are the recipes you need to recreate those insane moments. I also slipped in some movie inspired comic strips.

Richard and I are racing.  His book:  Giallo Meltdown:  A Moviethon Diary is now available for sale on Amazon.  I drew that cover ya’ll!

If you haven’t wandered over to DoomedMoviethon.com and tasted his literary stylings then, do! do!  Richard’s writing is engaging and witty.  It will pull you in, make you giggle, and embarrass you at the bus stop where people will gawk at you both for reading (who does that anymore) and for openly enjoying yourself in public.  I say this because it’s true, not because I’m biased in any way.

Hey!  Didja know the Doomed Moviethon girl is mine too?  Or, er, mine and Richard’s.  Only that I don’t draw her near as much as he would like me too.  Yes, that is her with my cat, Sparkles.

If you didn’t know about Doomed Moviethon you should head over there and check it out.  It is replete with fabulous reviews of sometimes horrible horror movies.  Sometimes good ones too.  All fabulous reviews, though.
