“Remember remember the 5th of November, the gunpowder, treason and plot. I know of no reason why gun powder treason should ever be forgot”

Because we are good anglophiles we remember the 5th of November. The most obvious movie watching is V for Vendetta, which feels even more appropriate in times of political upheaval. There is also a 2026 movie Guy Fawkes: Blood and Fire that we have not seen.

Of course there is a handful of documentaries, a mini-series, and the Poirot episode S1.E2 “Murder in the Mews” in case you need more.
