It has been a very long time since I’ve seen Dancing at Lughnasa. My hazy memory of school tells me that I read the play for class and then we watched the movie. Can’t say for certain that this is true.

Anyway, this is another holiday for which it is supremely difficult to find movies, thematically appropriate or no. We will soon find out whether this movie is one that we would want to revisit yearly or every other.
