Yup, Levi Levi is on hiatus, but the Levi Levi mini comic ‘The Secret is Murder’ is posting on Tumblr RIGHT NOW. What? You say you’ve never heard/red/seen it before? That’s ’cause it’s never been on the internets. Only a few very special people with paper in their hands know The Secret is Murder!

I am enamored of floor plans. I don’t gaze wistfully or draw them all the time, but I have amassed a collection of imaginary houses and whenever we are planning a move one of the first things I do is draw a plan of the new place.
So I got to thinking, Why shouldn’t my characters have floor plans? That is, why not combine a couple of passions and flesh out the world I’m writing in/about.
This here is the first. Levi Levi’s apartment and office. He thought about staging his desk in the front room, but decided he didn’t really like when people sat across from him there. He’s not the neatest person, but he doesn’t collect much stuff, so his place always looks spare.
Hello lovely peoples! I have made a tumblr for Levi Levi to gather all the character art, updates, and news in one place. I will talk about chapter ideas that I have previously only hounded friends with in the speaking world.
I am also planning on an exclusive tumblr release of a bonus Levi Levi story that I did for mini comics day and that only 3 or 4 people in the world have seen (’cause it’s never been online).
We’re gonna test this out ya’ll. Tell me what you think.
Dancing and dancing. Maybe this was college. I dunno.
And the conversation goes something like this:
Alvin (yeah, all grown up): “What are you supposed to be?”
Annie: “I’m a gorgon, you know – Medusa- What are you?”
Alvin: “Ah, um, I dunno – an army dude?”
Annie: “An army dude…because of cammo pants? Why didn’t you even try?”
Levi: “Hair’s too long, kid.”
Annie: “It’s not just that – not that you’re any better. I mean, you really went all out with that makeup.”
Levi: “Thank you!”
Annie: “I was being sarcastic.”
Alvin: “Are those snakes real?”
Annie: “Of course not.”
Alvin: “I think one just hissed at me.”
Okay, so I made a commercial for Levi Levi Chapter One. And I am only hesitant and a little embarrassed because I don’t hear my recorded voice very often.
And guess what is now for sale on my shop? Come on! Do you need me to spell it out for you? Levi Levi Chapter One: The Long Assignment and the Wyvern School for Girls Yearbook 1978 are now available for purchase in the LeEMS store.
Hello lovely people. Again, I am pushing my deadline. A new page of Levi Levi will be up by tonight. I had stalled on a what’s-gonna-happen-next, but I know now and I know how, so I’m hoping to amass some pages for regularly scheduled posting where I am not inking and scanning Thursday night (like I will tonight).
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, Levi Levi chapter one and the Monster girls zine shipped from the printer! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that since its a Florida to Florida it will be a quick delivery, but it probably will be the standard time of any shipment. sigh.
Are you excited? Edited for printing pages of the Wyvern School for Girls 1978 Year book and Levi Levi (1) the Long Assignment are at the printers. Levi Levi took a lot more work than I thought, and I have now permanently memorized the fonts: Showcard Gothic, Pupcat, and Free Script.
I should be writing font selection down whenever I create a cover or look for a comic but I always forget.
Anyway! once I get the volumes in the mail (Aug 19, if I didn’t mess up editing the pages), they will be available for purchase in my Etsy store (it’s so terribly empty right now; I’ll link the store on the main navigation once I stock it).

Remember how I said I’d been watching a lot of superhero movies? Of, course you do, it was just a couple days ago! So, of course, I’ve been drawing super heroes. And I’ve been drawing my own characters as super heroes. Here are some.
I imagined that if Levi Levi were a super hero he would be kind of like Captain America. If Clement and Rosalie Skitt were super heroes, they would be from an alternate time line where, instead of creating a time machine, they figured out a way to augment their own bodies with super powers. Crazy science kids, you gotta love ’em.

I promise, Levi Levi and the Time Machine will be back to posting every Thursday very very soon. I am almost doing only normal things everyday at home instead of unpacking, hanging pictures, and tripping over the tool box. In the meantime, I give you some cover art.
