I cut out the horehound, but kept most everything else the same as I would for Rock &#8216;n Rye.  The effect is much more cinnamon forward, and definitely improves the J&amp;B flavor.  I gave rough measurements, but you can put in as many or as few infusing agents as you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>J&amp;B (one 750 ml bottle)<\/li><li>1 string Rock candy or about a 1\/4 cup loose rock candy<\/li><li>1\/2 to 1 full orange peel (dried)<\/li><li>2-3 dried apricots, sliced<\/li><li>3-4 dried cherries<\/li><li>3-4 dried mandarin slices<\/li><li>1 whole clove<\/li><li>1 cinnamon stick<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In an empty wide mouth glass container (could be anything, jar, pitcher, etc with a lid) add J&amp;B, dried fruit, dried peel, and cinnamon stick<\/li><li>Allow mixture to infuse in a cool dry place for 3 or 4 days<\/li><li>Add rock candy and clove<\/li><li>Allow mixture to infuse one or two more days based on taste<\/li><li>Strain mixture and pour into a clean bottle<\/li><li>Enjoy!<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While making my yearly Rock &#8216;n Rye infusion, I got the idea that a similar process would work to make J&amp;B more enjoyable in my house (we find it very difficult).
